Hi guys, it's been a while.
7 months ago, I uploaded v0.6.1 with the plan to make regular updates. So, that didn't happen. But I didn't spend all that time doing nothing! v0.7 is out and ready to play, and you can take a look at all the updates I've made down below!

Changelog
- GAMEPLAY
- New Enemy Types
- Basic 2: Shoots down and moves horizontally
- Heavy: Moves slower and has more health. Moves horizontally. Has 2 firing modes. Shoots diagonally if the player is out of range. Else shoots at the player.
- Basic 3: Moves down, horizontally and then down again
- Drone 1: Follows the player
- Static 1: Stays in place and shoots at the player
- Side 1: Flies from one side of the screen to another and remains at the top, shoots down
- Fast: Accelerates and moves in an arc. Has a high firing rate.
- Drone 2: Follows and shoots at the player
- Static 2: Shoots 3 bullets at the player and moves in a semi-circle (ish)
- Side 2: Same as Side 1, but shoots at the player. Appears at the top but then re-enters at player’s Y
- Static 3: Shoots 5 bullets at the player and moves in a circle
- Drone 3: Follows the player until it detonates. Has an explosion range that grows with time, until it explodes eventually.
- Enemy Generation Reimplemented
- Supports multiple enemy types
- Spawn interval recalibrated
- Difficulty level determines which enemies can be spawned
- Whenever difficulty increases and a new enemy type is unlocked, that will be spawned.
- Enemy Bullets
- Speeds synchronized with the scrolling background
- Speed reduced
- Deadzones implemented at the sides of the screen. Indicated by translucent bars. Player slows down to a halt when they enter this area.
- Difficulty options added
- Easy: The game starts with the most basic enemies and then progresses to harder enemy types
- Normal: Same as Easy but starts with 2 enemy types for some variation
- Master: All enemy types can appear from the start
- New Enemy Types
- INFRASTRUCTURE
- Bullet Pooling improved to accommodate for bullets in all directions
- Window Size scales to fit user screen
- UI
- Selected buttons visually pop up
- Button selection and activation sound effects
- Main Menu aligned to the left
- Message Boxes redesigned to have darker background, bright text colour, keyboard dismissal and a dismissal message
- Menu activation remapped from Spacebar to Enter or E
- Main Menu button replaced with Back button, which returns to previous State
- Volume control removed from Pause Menu, replaced with Settings button
- VISUAL
- All entities have reflection
- Scrolling background animation remade
- Slight variation in player movements
- Billets and impact visuals remade
- Explosion on Game Over Screen
- New Explosion Animations
- Created attack effects for enemies that shoot towards the player. The angle of the arc depends on the number of bullets they shoot
- Enemies jitter when health is at 1
- AUDIO
- Option to mute music
- UI Sounds normalized
- BUG FIXES
- Message Box only appears at the beginning of the level
- High Score List infinite extension bug fixed. Now the maximum number of score is 10
- MISC
- Default Icon Changed
- Playtesters credited
