Make The Skies Burn!

Burning Skies is a retro top-down shooter. You control an airplane and destroy enemy drones. But beware! They shoot back, and if you're not careful, they can easily destroy you.

The Player Ship

The player controls a fast airplane that can move around and shoot enemies. 

The Enemy

The foes you will be facing are the enemy drones. While they are not a threat by themselves, they will always come in formations of different sizes. They can easily outnumber you, and their bullets will lead to your demise.

Health Pickups

Rest assured, you aren't fighting alone! Your allies will send you health items now and then, so that you can continue your fight.

Development Info:

This game is still under construction. The game mechanisms are meant to be simple and fun, but there will be more expansion in terms of Player Upgrades, Enemy Variety and Item Pickups.

This game is also a prototype that serves as a proof of concept. It was created using the Simian Framework, which I wrote using Java.
